I was stating that an individual cannot HIDE an accent in order to sound “Canadian”. That makes absolutely NO SENSE, because not all Canadians sound the same. Canada is just where an individual is FROM. For instance, if an individual from India (with an Indian accent) immigrated to Canada and became a legal citizen, he/she would sound different than another Canadian, correct?
